Tenant Forum Elections

All regional tenant representatives have now served for a three year period. This means that there will be new elections in all sheltered housing schemes in April/May 2009. Each tenant will be provided with details on how they can vote; this information will be forwarded in due course.

Caroline MacCrory Tenant Participation Officer would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the tenant representatives who have given their time so freely and generously over the past three years.

“I hope they have found the experience both interesting and enjoyable, some of them may even consider putting themselves forward for re-election. I would also encourage tenants who have not been involved in the tenant's forum in the past to consider being candidates in their scheme elections.

All elected representatives will receive full inductions and training to enable them to carry out the role of tenant representatives.

I look forward to the next three years working with tenants both re-elected and new.”
