About Oaklee Housing Association
The association was formed in 1992. It provides about 4,500 good quality homes at affordable rents throughout Northern Ireland. We provide homes for both families and single people. Many of the homes are in sheltered schemes for older people and supported schemes for people with disabilities, young people needing care or for other vulnerable people. In our supported schemes we provide care and support services in relation to individual needs.
Oaklee is a not-for-profit organisation, which means that we use any financial surplus to improve or expand our services and to build more homes. We are registered with the Department of Social Development for Northern Ireland.
We work closely with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive in the development of new housing schemes to meet the housing needs across the province.
A board of management is responsible for how the association operates. A Chief Executive is responsible to the board for ensuring that its decisions and policies are carried out.
